Joke-a-Thon! – Step it up!

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I did Joke-a-Thon! – Step it up! It was really fun making this short animation and I really thought that the joke was funny. Sorry I didn’t really have time to make the background for my animation, so I had to steal one off google. The 2 people is me and my Aunty. I made these characters in my DLO. If you go back and see my DLO you will see these people. Thank you very much Naomi Rosedale for making this task.

Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Thank you!

  1. Hi Swaimah,

This is a very cool animation. It must have taken you a lot of time to create these two characters and to make them move around, they are very clever!

I do love a pun joke, did you come up with this one yourself or did you find it online. I have found one to share with you too.

What do you call a woman who is good at saving money?
See if you can figure it out and let me know!
    Thanks for sharing Swaimah.

      1. Hi Swaimah,

A woman who is good at saving money is called Penny!
It’s a pun – because Penny is a type of currency you can pay with and also a common name for a woman.
Do you know of any other puns like that?

Happy New Year and thank you for sharing such a beautifully designed animation for your “Knock knock” joke! Your clever use of word play (“Annie”) made me smile. I also really enjoyed the great care and detail you have included in your background and capturing your aunty (and your) traditional dress.

Thank you also for your appreciation of the task – I really enjoyed making it!

If you are interested in a further joke challenge, look out of the activity on Wednesday called ‘Food-Art Wordplay’. With your superb animation design, I would love to see what vegetable art work you come up with!

    Nga mihi nui
