Today for Matariki I did Manu Tukutuku – Kite For Matariki. It was really easy and fun to make. You just had to add some Maori designs and a face on the top of your kite. Today for maths we did BMF 4.5 – Algebros. It was really hard to do question 11,12,13 & 14. I love doing fractions now because I learn very quickly and I just get use to it when I see a question. What is Fiafia?
Fiafia Is a time where Pt England School chooses a group like Fijian, Myanmar, Choir, Niue, Tongan, rock band, Bollywood, Rock’n’roll, Mr Jacobsen’s group, Cook island, Samoan and Kapa haka. I’m in the Rock’n’roll group, I’m not allowed to dance so I just sit back and watch or sometimes I help the teachers to get the students in the right places. I love fiafia but I can’t go to fiafia because in my culture we can’t dance unless it’s a wedding. My parents also don’t let me dance or go to the Fiafia night.
