Today for the summer learning journey I did Swaimah – SLJ Poetry Slam – Rua – Step it up! It was quite hard to come up with a poem until I thought of rain. When I thought of rain I was like “maybe something to do with a raindrop”. So here we are with a raindrop poem and a shape of a raindrop. Thank you very much Matua Dave for making this task because, I really enjoy writing plus art.

One Line Art – Kick Start

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I did One Line Art – Kick Start. It was really fun trying to make your own shapes and patterns. All you need is a pencil, black marker and some paper. Draw something with your pencil but with one line. When you finish then go over it with the black marker with one line. And there, you have your own one line art! Thank you very much Amie Williams for making this task because I really like to try different types of art!

Re-creating Portraits – Step it up!

I think this challenge is really popular because, everyone gets to have some time to go grab some equipment and clothing to make a really famous person. I picked the girl with the pearl earring. The girl with the pearl earring is really famous because, It became iconic for the distinct position of the girl, her enigmatic gaze, the colors and the delicate quality of the light.

I love this challenge because, it gives me some time to look at famous portraits and yet to know more about the artist and the person in the picture. Its also so cool to look at famous portraits you have never seen before because, every painting is made by a different artist and different art skills.

Thank you very much Metdavidc for making this task so we all can get creative and active. I really enjoyed doing this task a lot because, I had free time and I didn’t have anything to do.

Muslim Celebration – Kick Start

Today for Summer Learning Journey I did the Muslim celebration task. Eid is the Muslim celebration that we celebrate after Ramadan. Ramadan is when Muslims don’t eat or drink from sunrise to sunset for a month. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community. Eid al-Fitr is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. The religious holiday is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Thank you very much Mrs Tele’a For making this task, know everyone can know what we celebrate.
